Golden Heart Ranch Days is an inclusive, alternative-style day program designed for individuals with disabilities who are ready to grow, connect, and thrive. Centered around real-life experiences and hands-on learning, this unique program empowers participants to build independence, confidence, and lasting friendships in a supportive and uplifting environment.

2027: $275/day
Monday - Day at the Ranch
Mondays at Golden Heart Ranch are spent fully on the property, where Ranchers care for animals, cook and share lunch, garden, participate in fitness, and enjoy a variety of specialist-led activities that build life skills, confidence, and independence. Single Day Registration.

Tuesday - Hybrid Day
Hybrid Days are days in which time is spent both on the Ranch and out in the local community. Small groups of Ranchers may go grocery shopping, visit the garden store, or complete other Ranch and life-skills errands. Full Month Commitment.
TUESDAYS: MARCH 2026:
Yoga with Kym is a gentle, accessible yoga class that supports flexibility, strength, and relaxation while promoting mindfulness, body awareness, and overall well-being in a supportive environment.
Health Messages a 12-week program focused on hydration and exercise, with a new weekly lesson and a take-home bracelet reinforcing that week’s health theme
Pearl provides 1:1 and small-group support as a communication specialist, focusing on engaging conversations and spelling to communicate.

Wednesday - Community Day
Outing to a high-quality destination/activity in greater Los Angeles. Ranchers weigh in on group visits to Museums, Amusement Parks, Movies, Theater Matiness, Beaches, Nature Preserves, Cutural Festivals, Music Venues, sports Games, Unique Experiences, Historical Sites, and other destinations that most interest them. Single Day Registration.

3.4.26: Santa Barbara Surrey Bikes: Explore the Santa Barbara waterfront together on surrey bikes, practicing teamwork, navigation, and outdoor recreation.
3.11.26: Huntington Gardens: Stroll through beautiful botanical gardens, learning about plants, art, and peaceful community space.
3.18.26: Bob’s Big Boy Burbank: Enjoy a classic diner experience while practicing ordering food and dineing etiquette.
3.25.26: Cirque School LA: Beginner circus arts like juggling and movement, building balance, coordination, and self-expression.
APRIL 2026
4.8.26: Step back in time at the Santa Clarita History Center, where Ranchers will explore historic buildings, artifacts, and exhibits that tell the story of the Santa Clarita Valley. This hands-on visit offers a glimpse into early California life and the people who shaped the local community.
4.15.26: Ranchers will tour learn about wildlife conservation and the innovative Annenberg Wildlife Crossing, the world’s largest wildlife bridge designed to safely connect habitats across the 101 Freeway.Ranchers will discover how this groundbreaking project helps protect local animals like mountain lions, deer, and other native species.
4.22.26: Color Cafe Pottery Painting. Ranchers will paint their own pottery pieces using a variety of colors and designs. This relaxing and artistic outing encourages creativity, self-expression, and the joy of creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home.
2.29.26: Located in a historic former police station, the Los Angeles Police Museum showcases the history of law enforcement in Los Angeles. Ranchers will explore authentic police vehicles, uniforms, and exhibits while learning about the role of community safety and how policing has evolved over time.
Thursday - Hybrid Day
Hybrid Days are days in which time is spent both on the Ranch and out in the local community. Thursday afternoons are spent at a local community activity which may include fitness class, music class, hiking, dance class or other recreational activites. Full Month Commitment.
MARCH & APRIL COMMUNITY RECREATION
Zooz Fitness. Ranchers will enjoy an adaptive workout that build strength, coordination, and confidence in a supportive gym environment.

Friday - Theme Day
Monthly in-depth focus that may happen at the Ranch or offsite. Theme Days facilitate month-long exposure to paticipatnchosen interestes like Nature, California History, Sports, Art, Volunteerisn, Amilas, Culture, Space, and many others. Theme Days all us to explore participant interests in a deep way with facilitated community visits and important content by Specialists at the Ranch. Single Day Registration.
MARCH 2026:
Birds of a Feather: Each Friday in February Ranchers will explore bird focused destinations and learn about our flying friends through hands on observation and engaging experiences.
3.6.26: Ojai Raptor Center: Ranchers will learn about birds of prey, wildlife conservation, and respect for animals through close up education experiences.
3.13.26: WFVZ Bird Museum: Explore a unique bird museum, discovering different species while practicing observation adn curiosity.
3.20.26: OstrichLand USA: Visit a working ostrich and emu farm to observe these unique birds up close while learning about their care, behavior, and habitats. Please note the long drive and extended day to 3:15PM
3.27.26: Griffith Park Bird Sanctuary: Enjoy a nature walk while spotting local birds and learning about habitats in a calm outdoor setting.
APRIL 2026:
The Farm to Table program gives Ranchers a hands-on experience with where food comes from. Participants will visit local farms to pick fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the fields. After harvesting, the group will return to Golden Heart Ranch to bake or cook using the ingredients they collected. Ranchers will enjoy the full journey from farm to kitchen while also taking home some of the fresh produce they picked.
4.10.26: At Gerry’s Berries, Ranchers will stroll through beautiful blueberry fields and pick their own ripe berries right off the bush. This fun and interactive experience connects participants with local agriculture while providing a delicious ingredient to use later in baking at the Ranch.
4.17.26: A longtime local favorite, Underwood Family Farms offers Ranchers the opportunity to harvest seasonal fruits and vegetables directly from the fields. This hands-on farm experience introduces participants to a variety of crops while learning about how food is grown and harvested.
4.24.26: Wanderment Farms is a small, regenerative farm where Ranchers can explore sustainable farming practices. This visit highlights the importance of caring for the land and provides a meaningful connection to the food we eat every day.
