Whether you’re interested in our day programs, camps, or social recreation opportunities, a tour is a great first step.
Before You Start
To ensure a smooth start, there are a few forms and documents we’ll need from you:
Golden Heart Ranch Programs

Ranch Days: Held during the school year, Ranch Days focus on building life skills, social connections, fitness, community integration, and vocational experiences in a supportive environment.

Seasonal Camps: Our Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall Camps are all about fun, adventure, and new experiences, with activities designed to create lasting memories with friends.

South Bay: A weekly evening social club bringing Ranchers together in the South Bay for connection, activities, and community fun outside of the Ranch setting.
- Camp Coyote Ridge: Overnight experience at Golden Heart Ranch.
Registration Process
Once your paperwork is complete, you’re welcome to start registering for programs at Golden Heart Ranch.
If you’re using Self-Determination Funds or Social Recreation funding, please contact Jeni@GoldenHeartRanch.org to receive a registration code before signing up.
Registration typically opens by the month, and all Ranchers — even those with a regular schedule — are required to register for each program they plan to attend.
Here’s how our registration works:

Ranch Days:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are single-day registration.

Tuesdays and Thursdays require a full-month commitment.

Seasonal Camps:

Registration is available by the day.

Single-day registration for each evening event.

Open to ages 16+
South Bay – Evening Social Club
Thursday Evenings 4:30PM – 6:30PM
First Thursday of the month is a community based restaurant – please contact Christina@GoldenHeartRanch.org for location.
Remaining Thursdays are at the Joslyn Community Center: 1601 N Valley Dr, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
$55 per program
Open to ages 18+
Payment Options
- Private Pay – payment due on registration
- Self Determination – FMS information must be received before your Rancher may register and attend.
- Social Recreation – confirmation of funding must be received before your Rancher may register and attend.
What to Expect on your First Day (Agoura Hills)
Please follow the drop off procedures. Your Rancher will have an open locker in the Main Center in which they can leave their belongings. Lunch, healthy snacks, and water are provided throughout the day. Your Rancher is welcome to bring their own lunch if preferred (GHR is a nut free program), they will have access to a microwave, plates, napkins, silverware etc. We encourage your Rancher to bring their own reusable water bottle. Please clearly label all items brought to the Ranch with your Ranchers name.
