Golden Heart Ranch is a 22-acre property nestled in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains of Agoura Hills, California. Serving as the home base for most of our programs, the Ranch offers a peaceful and enriching environment designed to support the growth, independence, and joy of our Ranchers. With its unique features—from the garden and animal area to the swimming pool, sports court, and art center—Golden Heart Ranch provides the ideal setting for learning, connection, and meaningful experiences.
The Art Center is a creative hub where Ranchers can express themselves through painting, crafting, drawing, and more. It’s a colorful and welcoming space that encourages imagination, self-expression, and hands-on learning
The swimming pool at Golden Heart Ranch is a favorite summer spot for fun, relaxation, and physical activity. With staff supervision, Ranchers can enjoy free swim time, water games, and cool breaks on hot days.

The Sports Court at Golden Heart Ranch is a vibrant space where Ranchers stay active, build confidence, and have fun together. Whether playing basketball, participating in group fitness classes, practicing yoga, or enjoying friendly games and team challenges, the court encourages movement, social connection, and healthy lifestyles. Activities are adapted to meet a variety of abilities, helping every Rancher develop coordination, teamwork, and self-confidence while enjoying the benefits of an active and inclusive community.
The Park at Golden Heart Ranch offers more than just fun—the swings provide a calming and regulating experience for many Ranchers. Swinging helps support the vestibular system, which plays a key role in balance, body awareness, and sensory processing. For some individuals, swinging can be a helpful way to reset, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. Whether used for play or as a calming strategy, the swings are a valuable part of the Ranch experience. Newly added in 2026 is the outdoor fitness equipment, making the park an area for fitness and fun.
The Golden Heart Ranch garden is a peaceful, hands-on space where Ranchers learn to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers. They dig, plant, water, and harvest with pride, gaining valuable life skills and a deeper appreciation for the environment.
The Ranch is home to friendly chickens, Rosie the cow, and curious goats. Interacting with the animals helps Ranchers build responsibility, empathy, and connection with nature as they feed, care for, and spend time with each animal.
